Position PS105: Principal Consultant
Due to growing demand for pricing and marketing strategy projects within F1000 firms, Porter Sloan has an immediate opening for a Principal Consultant for our US East Coast operations. You will have overall responsibility for client recommendations, project quality control and customer satisfaction. In addition, you will guide and mentor project managers, source and manage external consulting partners and manage financial contribution for all practice areas within your territory. While not responsible for day-to-day execution of projects, the Principal must provide hands-on supervision and guidance as needed by the project team.
Requirements:
Strong business network and industry presence
The proven ability to work cooperatively and persuasively with VP's, Directors
7+ years consulting experience working for a major consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
Experience as a lead consultant in pricing, marketing, or other business strategy
Demonstrated project management experience, having led engagements of ten or more people
Experience in one or more of the following industries Manufacturing, Chemicals, High Tech & Financial Services industries
Willingness to travel

Position PS102: Quality Assurance Engineer
Lead the test efforts for Professional Solution Series product line. Investigate, report and track defects, and expand our automated test suites. Duties include creating test plans, setting up test environments, developing automated tests, executing, maintaining automated test suites, and analyzing results. This is a challenging position for a person with strong coding and testing skills, resourcefulness, and the desire to work with talented content and software developers.
Requirements:
Good programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Visual Basic,C/C++, Java or Python.
Good proficiency/experience in working on Windows and Unix/Linux.
Good scripting skills in at least one of the following scripting languages: perl, vbscript, php.
SQL a plus.
4+ years of Testing experience (Internet/Web related applications a plus).
BS in Computer Science. (MS a plus)
Excellent knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as web browsers, http, and html.
